Top(shop) Boots For Cloudy Days

Okay, my love of boots is no secret, but I particularly love boots that are unique in some way. I found these today at Topshop and they took my breath away. The colour is amazing, and the price is reasonable. What great boots for a cloudy grey fall day!

Fall-ing For Boots

At times this poor little shoe blog is neglected as I get pre-occupied with other writing projects. This blog is never far from my thoughts, though, as shoes are never far from my mind, either. As our temperature drops, the leaves begin to turn colour, and the windshield of my car requires scraping my thoughts turn to fall and boots. Boots, boots, boots, fall is ALL about boots to me. I found these boots today at Schuh and thought them terrific for crunching fall leaves on those cool afternoons.

Forest Green Wedges

In fall my colour palette changes to chocolate brown, slate grey, rich burgundy, rusty red, and, most especially, forest green. When I saw these online at Aldo Shoes I knew I had to have them. Forest green suede, with a wedge heel and stacked sole, they are the epitome of fall sexy. When they arrived and I tried them on I was amazed with how comfortable they are, too! This will be my go-to shoe this fall...

Fall Schuhs

I know it's still August but my thoughts have turned to fall, fellow addicts. As my favourite retailers begin to stock their fall lines I find something delicious almost every day. A quick perusal of the new arrivals at Schuh turned up these - and I think they are quite lovely!

Why, John Fluevog? Why?!?

Well, shoe addicts, I'm going to lose a lot of weight this fall - because most of my food budget will be spent on boots from Fluevog. Their fall line this year is astonishing, and each time they add new ones to the website I groan and check my bank balance yet again. I love Fluevogs - there is no doubt - but I don't see how anyone can resist the offerings they have this season. This blog is rapidly becoming a love sonnet to Fluevog, but I can't help it. With shoes like this how can I resist? How can you?!?

Miz Mooz Does Great Shoes

You know what makes me happiest? Discovering a new line of shoes that I love, that's what. Recently I found Miz Mooz shoes and fell in love. These shoes are everything I adore - unique styling, excellent quality, beautiful materials, and a reasonable price. I found these at Infinity Shoes - and they do indeed ship to Canada. Oh dear!

Louboutin Fall 2011- Part Two

There is nothing quite like a Christian Louboutin shoe. The beauty, the style, that little red sole...stunning and flawless in every detail. These ankle boots are from the Fall 2011 line, and while they may be very costly they are also very, very lovely.

Fall Fur

According to the style magazines I've seen fur is in this fall - and it's on boots, too. Now, I won't wear real fur as I prefer fur on living creatures, but I would consider a fake fur boot. Found these at Spring Shoes and think they would look pretty cute with jeans when the temperature begins to drop!

Baroque Love

I wrote about these boots a few weeks ago, before they had even been released for sale. I ordered them the instant they hit the Fluevog Shoes website, and anxiously awaited their arrival. When they did come I opened the blue-paper wrapped box and gasped - because they are beautiful beyond words. Shoe addicts, I present my favourite new shoes - maybe my favourite shoes ever, as they are just so stunning.

Moving From Summer Into Fall

It may seem early but summer is sprinting by, and soon the nights will grow longer and the temperatures grow colder. There are some shoes that can make this transition, and I think these little shoes from Payless Shoes can do it.  Part shoe, part boot, and thus called a "shootie". I love these colours, too!

Velvet Shoes?!?

You see clothing items in velvet, of course, usually shirts and sometimes perhaps even handbags. Velvet shoes seem an unusual idea, but if they also happen to be strappy sandals in a rich jewel tone can anything be more appropriate for evening? These are from the new fall line at TopShop and I think they are quite beautiful. Worn with the ubiquitous "little black dress" they will make any woman stand out at an evening event!
