Good Shoe, Miu Miu!

Since I posted the Miu Miu-inspired shoes from Schuh yesterday I thought today I'd show you the original. The first two are straight from the Miu Miu official website, and appear available in the UK for £525 (about $790 Canadian). The last I found at Barney's New York for $950 American. I suspect you can see why I think they were the design inspiration for the Schuh version from yesterday...yummy shoes, no?!? Miuccia Prada knows a good shoe....

The "Priscilla Lace"

I love a shoe with a great name, don't you? When I saw the "Priscilla Lace" I think my jaw dropped a bit. They are likely a design knock-off of a much more expensive Miu Miu shoe - but these are some amazing knock-offs! Available at Schuh for  £75 (about $115 Canadian) plus $15 Canadian shipping (plus duties and taxes, likely about $25 or so). Well worth it in the opinion of this shoe addict (and cheaper than the designer original by about, oh, $800 or so...)

I Love You, Shoe

This will be a blog of few words and many pictures. Pictures of shoes, in fact. So, if you've stumbled onto this blog and couldn't give a hoot about shoes you may want to trundle off. If, however, you want to see some fabulous shoes, hang around. The intent is to post a picture of one great pair of shoes a day (maybe more if I see fit) and a few words. Probably words like "sigh" and "I wish" when the photo is of a pair of Louboutins or Manolos. If possible I'll also tell you where you can find the shoes in case you want to exercise your credit card. So, here we go off on a new adventure! First post of this new blog in 3...2...1....
